Hyderabad: Gadwal MLA B Krishna Mohan Reddy has decided to return to the BRS party after recently joining Congress.
On Tuesday, the MLA met BRS working president K T Rama Rao in the Assembly to express his intention to rejoin the party.
Reddy will soon have a formal meeting with BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao. This decision comes just a month after he defected to Congress in the presence of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
Reddy’s return to BRS will reduce the number of defected MLAs from BRS to Congress to a single digit. This move is seen as a setback for Congress, which has been actively trying to attract MLAs from other parties, especially after Revanth Reddy announced that the party is open to defections.
