Nadigadda Rights Struggle Committee Chairman Extends Women's Day Wishes
On International Women’s Day, Nadigadda Rights Struggle Committee (NHPS) District Chairman, Gongalla Ranjith Kumar, conveyed his warm wishes to the women of Gadwal district.
Support for Women's Growth
Speaking on the occasion, Ranjith Kumar highlighted the need for women’s progress in economic, political, and social sectors. He encouraged everyone to support women’s empowerment and development in all fields.
Controversy Over MLA’s Political Affiliation
A controversy arose during the Women’s Day celebrations near the Gadwal MLA camp office. The event, led by MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy’s wife, Bandla Jyothi, featured banners with images of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Minister Jupally Krishna Rao. Although it was not an official government event, Minister Jupally Krishna Rao attended as a chief guest at the MLA’s invitation.
Contradictions in MLA’s Statements
Ranjith Kumar pointed out an inconsistency in MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy’s stance. A few months ago, the MLA had declared that he had no connection with the Congress party and even filed a complaint against the unauthorized use of his photo in Congress banners. However, during the Women’s Day celebrations, his wife arranged banners featuring Congress leaders’ photos.
He questioned whether the MLA would now take action against his wife for using Congress leaders’ images in the banners.
Minister Jupally Krishna Rao’s Role
Ranjith Kumar also criticized Minister Jupally Krishna Rao for supporting MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy, despite the MLA’s unclear political position. He demanded that the minister clarify why he attended a private event organized by someone who is not officially affiliated with the ruling party.
Public Backlash in Upcoming By-Elections
Finally, Ranjith Kumar accused MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy of misleading the public for political gain. He claimed that the MLA was using money and power to suppress opposition and avoid disqualification in the BRS party defection case.
He warned that the people of Gadwal would respond strongly in the upcoming by-elections, putting an end to such political maneuvers.
