Ahead of Ganesh Visarjan 2024 on Tuesday, the government has decided to set up 30 medical camps across Hyderabad. Health Minister Damodara Rajanarasimha has asked officials to be ready for emergencies and ensure that ambulances are available for anyone who needs urgent medical help.
During a meeting at the state secretariat, the minister said that health camps and ambulances should be placed in important areas where the Ganesh idol immersion is happening. He stressed that doctors and nurses must be present to give immediate treatment if an emergency occurs.
The health department is on high alert and is making preparations to handle the large number of devotees and tourists expected at Tank Bund in Hyderabad. Medical kits have already been prepared, and healthcare professionals are ready to provide quick medical assistance.
This initiative by the government is aimed at ensuring the health and safety of the many people who will be attending the event. Visitors are advised to know the locations of the medical camps for easy access to medical care if needed.
