Modi addressed the devotees in Telugu and thanked the Kasi Telugu Samithi for organizing the program. He explained how the people of Kasi had improved the city and made the darshan of Kasi Vishwanath, Maa Annapurna, and Kalabhairva enjoyable. Modi talked about the religious oneness of India and how different regions are known for their specific deities. He asked devotees to take a dip in the holy Ganga and try local food and souvenirs like wooden toys, Banarasi sarees, and sweets.
