Ananthagiri police successfully dismantled a ganja smuggling operation, apprehending seven people linked to the illegal activity in Suryapet. The arrests occurred at the mandal headquarters during a focused police effort.
At a press briefing at the Kodad Rural Police Circle Office, DSP Sridhar Reddy provided case details. Officers seized 2.4 kg of ganja and three mobile phones in two separate incidents.
One suspect remains on the run, with police actively pursuing him. The arrested individuals face charges and will be placed in judicial custody. DSP Reddy praised the police team for their prompt and effective work in the operation.
