GHMC commissioner Ronald Rose was visited by members of the United Federation of Resident Welfare Associations (U-FERWAS) Executive Committee at the GHMC head office in Hyderabad. The U-FERWAS members expressed their gratitude to the Commissioner for ensuring voter checking enrollment in RWA areas at all polling booths in Greater Hyderabad.
During the meeting, the members discussed how U-FERWAS, as the apex body of RWAs in the city, promotes regular interaction with civic authorities and public representatives to improve services for citizens. They requested the Commissioner to consider GHMC’s association with U-FERWAS in various activities, such as monitoring sanitation, electoral rolls, and swachh Hyderabad and swachh colony competitions.
B T Srinivasan, the General Secretary of U-FERWAS, conveyed these requests to the Commissioner.
