Amrapali Kata has started her new role as the Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). She took over the position from Ronald Rose, who has been moved to the Energy Department by the state government. Amrapali was welcomed by GHMC officials and was honored after assuming her new responsibilities.
During the handover, Zonal Commissioners Hemant Keshav Patil, Apoorva Chauhan, and Upender Reddy were present to support Amrapali. Additionally, Senior IPS officer A V Ranganath also began his role as GHMC Enforcement, Vigilance, and Disaster Management (EV&DM) Commissioner on the same day.
Office officials and staff enthusiastically greeted the new Commissioners with flowers and congratulations as they settled into their new positions.
