In Musheerabad Assembly segment of Hyderabad, some voters are upset with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) for failing to distribute Voter Information Slips (VIS) on time. The GHMC, responsible for conducting polls, started distributing VIS last month.
One voter, N Raju from Bagh Lingampally, reported not receiving the VIS by May 12. This has been a recurring issue for Raju and his neighbors, who also faced the same problem during the last State Assembly elections. Another resident, S Visweswar Reddy, shared a similar experience of confusion during the previous elections.
Despite calls for voter turnout, some residents are struggling to access their VIS. Many in the area, especially those in LIG, HIG, and MIG housing categories, have not received their VIS. Some people find it challenging to download the VIS through mobile apps, causing further frustration among voters.
