Hyderabad: The Justice Ghose Commission is working quickly to finish its investigation report on the Kaleshwaram project. This report is due to the state government before July 31. On Monday, the Commission requested more information about the project, focusing on the condition of the three damaged barrages: Medigadda, Annaram, and Sundilla.
Justice Ghose showed dissatisfaction with Anil Kumar, a senior irrigation official, for not providing important details about Medigadda’s construction. The Commission has asked Kumar to present documents within three days. Justice Ghose has reviewed testimonies from the Irrigation Department and statements from former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, and former ministers T Harish Rao and E Rajendar. These are crucial for the report.
Documents will play a key role in forming the Commission’s conclusions. Justice Ghose aims to address all issues and has suggested ways to fix problems in the expensive Kaleshwaram project.
