A new case has been filed against BJP MLA Raja Singh from Goshamahal in Hyderabad. The Sultan Bazar police registered a case against him for allegedly breaking election rules during Sri Rama Navami celebrations. The case was filed under IPC sections 188, 290, and 34 on April 18.

The police took action against Raja Singh for organizing a rally without permission on April 17. Even though the police had denied permission due to concerns about law and order during the general elections, Raja Singh went ahead with the rally along with BJP workers and supporters.
