Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy submitted an affidavit to the Election Commission of India declaring his combined movable property worth Rs. 680 crore for himself, his spouse, and children, along with immovable property valued at Rs. 96.91 crore.

In the affidavit, it was revealed that YS Jagan’s assets have grown by 41 percent over the last five years to Rs. 529.50 crore, with a declared income of Rs. 57.75 crore for the year 2022-23. His wife, YS Bharati Reddy, owns movable and immovable assets worth Rs. 176.30 crore, along with gold and diamonds valued at Rs. 5.30 crore.

YS Jagan has liabilities of Rs. 1.10 crore, while his wife has liabilities of Rs. 7.41 crore according to the affidavit. During the 2019 Assembly polls, YS Jagan declared assets worth Rs. 375.20 crore.

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister is implicated in 26 criminal cases by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). These cases include charges of money laundering, defamation, and criminal intimidation.

YS Jagan’s income sources include MLA salary, MP pension, rental income, other income (such as bank interest, dividends, etc.), and agricultural income. His wife’s income sources include salary, rental income, capital gains, other income (interest, dividends, etc.), and agricultural income.

YS Jagan pursued a Bachelor of Commerce at Pragati Maha Vidyalaya, Osmania University, Hyderabad, completing it in 1994. He studied at Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, earning an Indian School Certificate in 1991 and an Indian Certificate of Secondary Education in 1989.
