    Additional Collector K Sitarama Rao held a meeting with rice millers in Nagarkurnool district. He discussed the submission of CMR rice to the government for the years 2020-2021, 2021-2022, and warned of legal action if rice millers fail to submit CMR rice for the year 2023-24 by April 30, 2024.

    All rice millers were instructed to respond promptly and hand over the required CMR rice. District Civil Supplies Officer Swamy, District Manager, Rice Miller Owners, and Tasildars were present at the meeting.

    It is important for rice millers to submit the CMR rice due to the government on time to avoid any legal consequences. The meeting was held in the conference hall of the integrated collectorate building in the district.
