Khanapur: Adilabad District Collector Rajarshi Shah announced that the state government will launch several welfare schemes on January 26 to celebrate Republic Day. He assured that all eligible beneficiaries in the district would receive the benefits of these schemes.

The Collector participated in Gram Sabhas organized in Sammakka, Pipri, Indravelli mandal, and Umri, Utnoor mandals on Tuesday. Under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, farmers cultivating crops on cultivable land will receive investment assistance of ₹12,000 per acre. For agricultural laborers’ families without cultivable land, the government will provide ₹12,000 annually in two installments under the Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa scheme. Families without cultivable land who have worked for at least 20 days during the 2023-24 financial year have been identified as eligible beneficiaries.

The Collector also shared that a detailed review of applications for new ration cards was conducted, and eligible individuals were identified based on government guidelines. During the Gram Sabhas, special officers read out the list of identified beneficiaries, and the villagers approved the selections without any objections.

He assured the public that applications could be submitted during Gram Sabhas or at public administration service centers in mandal offices after January 26. Every application will be thoroughly reviewed, and benefits will be provided to all eligible applicants. The Collector emphasized that there is no need for people to feel misled or concerned, as the government is committed to ensuring that welfare schemes reach everyone in need.
