Government to ensure maximum amenities and comfort for Medaram devotees

Seethakka, the Panchayat Raj Minister, visited Medaram in Mulugu district to inspect the preparations for the Sammakka Saralamma jatara. She assured that the government will provide all necessary facilities to ensure the comfort of the devotees attending the event.

During her visit, Seethakka reviewed the progress of the arrangements and instructed the officials to work faster. She inspected the Gundlavagu bridge, road works, and parking areas. Seethakka also visited Chilakalagutta and VIP parking areas, where she provided some suggestions to the officials. She emphasized the importance of daily supervision by the district administration.

The biennial jatara is scheduled to begin on February 21, 2024, and will last for four days. Before her inspection, Seethakka offered prayers at the altars of the deities, Sammakka Saralamma. The district collector, superintendent of police, and ITDA project officer were also present during her visit.
