Former MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy from Ibrahimpatnam constituency is facing multiple cases against him. Kappari Lakshaiah, a former Sarpanch, has accused Kishan Reddy and his son of accepting Rs 2.5 crore for political favors. The complaint also mentions emotional harassment during government meetings and events. This has caused tension in the constituency, as other high-profile figures like Amoy Kumar and Yusuf are also facing cases.
In response, Congress leaders are pointing out mistakes and discrepancies from the past five years to intensify the political rivalry. Additionally, a case has been registered against Kishan Reddy, his son, and two senior officials. The Ibrahimpatnam Municipal Chairperson is also under scrutiny due to a case filed by Kappari Sravanti, who claims that money was demanded for securing the Chairperson position in the 2019 municipal elections.
The situation became even more complicated when it was revealed that the then in-charge collector and the Municipal Commissioner were allegedly involved in supporting Kishan Reddy’s actions. This adds another layer of complexity to the unfolding political drama.
