    Hyderabad: The Telangana Housing Board and Rajiv Swagruha will offer plots and flats for auction to support development efforts.

    The auction plans moved forward after Housing Secretary Dr. Jyotibuddha Prakash and Housing Board Commissioner VP Gautam prepared proposals, receiving approval from the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Resource Mobilisation.

    On Saturday, the Housing Commissioner announced that notifications for the auction would be issued on June 20, with all necessary arrangements underway.

    Under Rajiv Swagruha, both completed and partially completed flats in 11 areas, along with open plots in four Housing Board areas, will be available for auction. Interested buyers are encouraged to take advantage of affordable, dispute-free properties.

    Funds raised will support housing projects near the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and in other districts to ensure accessibility for the public.

    Unfinished towers, each with 100 to 150 flats, in areas like Gajula Ramaram, Pocharam, and Khammam Polepalli will be sold as units, allowing builders and housing organizations to invest in multi-story buildings.

    Details of properties for auction include 514 plots in Thorrur, 20 in Kurmalguda, 3 in Chandanagar (Rangareddy district), 159 flats in Bandlaguda, unfinished towers in Medchal-Malkaj Giri Gajularamaram, 601 flats in Pocharam, and 69 plots in Bahadur Pally.

    Notifications will also announce the sale of 111 plots in Pothulamadugu (Mahabubnagar district) and 45 plots in Amistapur. Incomplete towers in Polepalli (Khammam district) and 3.38 acres of vacant land will also be auctioned.

    Additional properties include 7 acres and 33 guntas in Kukatpally Housing Board Colony (KPHB) – Phase 4, two open plots (4598 sq. yards and 2420 sq. yards) in the same colony, 1148 sq. feet in Nampally, and a 2605 sq. yard incomplete community hall in Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar.

    A nearly completed community hall in Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar with a cellar, stilt parking, and a ground-plus-one structure, totaling 22,285 square feet with a parking area of 37,070 square feet, is also available. This auction seeks to generate funds for maintaining the function hall.
