Hyderabad: G Kishan Reddy, the Union Minister and State BJP chief, expressed confidence that the BJP will continue to succeed as long as Rahul Gandhi remains the leader of the Congress. Speaking at the party’s social media wing workshop on Saturday, he criticized the Congress MP for spreading misinformation that harms the reputation of important institutions in India and abroad. Reddy suggested this was a tactic to hide Gandhi’s ineffective leadership, highlighted by Congress’s numerous electoral losses over the past ten years.

Reddy accused the Congress of being plagued by corruption and dynastic politics, which has led to a lack of public trust. He argued that the public rejects the party’s criticisms of the BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the Central government. Referring to an article by Rahul Gandhi, Reddy viewed it as further proof of Gandhi’s weak leadership, especially his claims that the Election Commission of India (ECI) has failed its constitutional duties.

Kishan Reddy questioned the logic behind Congress’s accusations, asking how the party managed to win 90 seats in Telangana and a similar count in Parliament if the ECI was allegedly manipulating elections.

The Union Minister also condemned the harsh political language used by Congress and Rahul Gandhi, noting that they criticized even Operation Sindoor. He emphasized that politics and national security should be treated separately, accusing both Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of making politically motivated statements about Operation Sindoor, which he considered a significant low.
