Hyderabad: On Sunday, Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma emphasized the importance of protecting Bharatiya Samskruti (Indian culture) and its age-old traditions. He described these cultural values as timeless and vital for future generations.

Governor Varma and his wife, Sudha Dev Varma, participated in the upcoming Saraswati Nadi Pushkaralu 2025 celebrations. The sacred rituals were held at the Triveni Sangamam in Kaleshwaram, where three rivers meet. The couple took a holy dip in the waters and performed the ritual of ‘Sankalpam’, a spiritual vow made during religious events.

After the river ceremony, the Governor and his wife visited the historic Shree Kaleshwara Mukteeshwara Swamy Temple. They offered prayers for the health, peace, and prosperity of the people of Telangana.

The Governor’s visit highlighted the spiritual and cultural importance of traditional festivals like Pushkaralu. His participation also encouraged people to value their heritage and continue practicing their faith with devotion.
