Hyderabad: Governor Jishnu Dev Varma and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy sent their best wishes to the people of Telangana for the Vinayaka Chaturthi festival on Wednesday.
The Governor mentioned that devotees pray to Lord Ganesha to overcome obstacles for success. He noted that it is a tradition to seek Ganesha’s blessings before starting any new task to ensure its success.
He expressed his hope that Lord Ganesha, known for removing obstacles, will eliminate all barriers to unity, peace, progress, and prosperity for the state and the nation. He wished everyone health, prosperity, joy, and happiness during the Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations.
The Chief Minister encouraged devotees to celebrate in a lively manner at the brightly decorated Ganesh pandals.
CM Revanth Reddy instructed the police to manage traffic effectively and make necessary arrangements in all district headquarters, including Hyderabad, during the Ganesh Navaratri festivities. He also ordered precautions at pandals with large crowds. The CM highlighted that the government is again providing free electricity to Ganesh pandals this year.
