    Governor of Telangana Visits Udyan Utsav in Hyderabad

    Jishnu Dev Varma, the Governor of Telangana, attended the fifth day of the Udyan Utsav at Rashtrapati Nilayam on Monday. The event attracted a large number of visitors, including families, school children, and NCC and NSS cadets.

    Around 8,500 people explored the beautiful gardens, enjoying the vibrant floral displays and peaceful surroundings. Many visitors described the experience as a perfect family outing, with the colorful flowers adding to the charm of the event.

    During his visit, the Governor interacted with various stalls at the event. These included stalls showcasing indigenous plant nurseries and eco-friendly products. He appreciated the efforts being made to promote sustainable development and protect the environment.

    The fifth day of Udyan Utsav also featured a range of engaging activities. In the community engagement zone, visitors participated in workshops on rooftop gardening, hydroponics, and natural dye-making. Other attractions included pottery-making on a pot wheel, a recycling workshop titled “Waste to Wealth,” and a hands-on session on growing microgreens. A fancy dress activity using flowers, fruits, and vegetables delighted many attendees.

    Additionally, the workshop zone focused on advanced fruit cultivation technologies. Senior officials explained that these sessions covered topics like production techniques and pest and disease management. The event combined education and entertainment, leaving attendees with valuable knowledge and a memorable experience.
