Bhadrachalam celebrated Sri Rama Navami with a grand and beautiful ceremony—the wedding of Sri Sita and Sri Ram. The holy event took place during the special Abhijith Lagna time, where Sri Ramachandramurthy placed a sacred necklace on Seethamma, following traditional rituals.
The wedding was carefully planned and performed by temple scholars at the sacred location of Mithila. They combined ancient customs with a modern approach, making the event both traditional and engaging. Many devotees from all over the Telugu states came to Bhadrachalam to witness the ceremony. The streets were filled with people singing devotional songs and chanting “Rama” with great joy.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also attended the celebrations. He offered silk clothes and pearls on behalf of the state government. His wife, Geeta, accompanied him. Other leaders, including Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Konda Surekha, as well as several MLAs and public representatives, also took part in the event.
This divine wedding ceremony was not only a religious celebration but also a moment of unity and devotion. It brought people together in faith and showcased the rich cultural heritage and spiritual traditions of the region.
