Gadwal, Telangana – A grand religious procession took place in Aiza town of Jogulamba Gadwal District to celebrate Sri Hanuman Vijaya Utsavam, a sacred day dedicated to Lord Hanuman.
On the occasion of Vaishakha Bahula Dashami, devotees gathered in large numbers for the Sri Hanuman Vijaya Utsava Rally. The event started at the Anjaneya Swamy Temple in the SC Colony and moved through key areas like the New Bus Stand, Old Bus Stand, Ayyappa Temple, and Sant Bazaar, before concluding at the ancient Gunta Ramappa Temple.
The rally was filled with energy, color, and devotion. People danced to DJ music, sang devotional songs, and performed Kolatam, a traditional folk dance. Cultural programs added to the festive spirit, drawing people of all ages.
Participants included members of several organizations and political parties, including the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Hindu Dharma Parirakshana Samithi, BJP, Congress, and TRS. Families, children, and elders all joined together, showing strong community support.
This annual rally began ten years ago at the Pedda Anjaneya Swamy Temple. Over time, it has become a major spiritual and cultural event in the region, growing bigger each year.
Organizers said the rally wasn’t just a celebration, but a way to inspire devotion, patriotism, and moral values in young people. They believe honoring Lord Hanuman helps promote truth (Satya), righteousness (Dharma), protection (Parirakshana), and peace in society.
Speakers reminded the crowd of the ideals of Rama Rajya, the legendary kingdom of Lord Rama, where justice and harmony prevailed. They encouraged everyone to follow a similar path by embracing Rama Nama, the chanting of Lord Rama’s name, as a source of guidance.
The rally ended with a deep sense of spiritual fulfillment and unity. It left a lasting impression on the community, celebrating Hindu Dharma while strengthening cultural pride and togetherness.
