Former Finance Minister T Harish Rao stated that there have been no electricity cuts during KCR’s rule in Telangana, with power cuts only starting during the Congress government’s rule. He shared this information after meeting with leaders of the Munnuru Kapu community in Zaheerabad parliamentary constituency, who expressed concerns about power cuts in their village.

During the meeting, the Munnuru Kapu leaders requested a chance to contest in the upcoming parliamentary elections, which Harish Rao promised to discuss with party president KCR. He assured them that KCR is open to giving opportunities to more people, as shown by the party’s history of providing opportunities to Kapu leaders in the past.

Harish Rao criticized the Congress party for not fulfilling its promise of loan waivers, despite making 13 promises on December 9. He emphasized the importance of supporting BRS, a party fighting for Telangana’s interests, in the upcoming MP elections to hold the Congress accountable for its unmet promises.

Additionally, he urged farmers to unite and vote against the Congress party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections to ensure that promises like loan waivers, Rythu Bandhu, electricity, and bonuses are fulfilled. Harish Rao highlighted the history of the Congress party deceiving farmers with bond papers, emphasizing that only through their defeat can Congress’s promises be implemented.
