Senior leader Harish Rao has strongly criticized the government for destroying large areas of forest land and cutting down thousands of trees without proper permission. He questioned why officials have remained silent and not taken any action.

Rao pointed out that normally, people need official permission to cut even a single tree. However, in this case, the government did not even bother to apply for permission. He claimed that around 50 bulldozers were used to clear the forest, and no proper process was followed.

He compared the government’s behavior to putting up a fence only after losing the crops, saying it was careless to apply for protection after the damage had already been done.

Harish Rao also revealed that the government’s rushed actions caused the death of three deer. He questioned why there is no accountability, mentioning that actor Salman Khan was jailed for killing just one deer, while no action has been taken against Chief Minister Revanth.

Rao accused the government of double standards. He said if a poor person cuts down even one tree, they face legal trouble, but the government continues to destroy forests without consequence.

He blamed the forest department for neglecting its duties and reminded everyone that even on private land, permission is needed to cut trees. Rao concluded by saying the government acted irresponsibly and is fully responsible for cutting down thousands of trees.
