    Senior Congress leader Mohammed Ali Shabbir Ali expressed his condolences on the passing of Hazrat Allama Hafiz and Qari Muhammad Osman Naqshbandi. Naqshbandi was the former Imam of Makkah Masjid and Khatib of Masjid-e-Prince Shehamat Jah. Shabbir Ali said that Naqshbandi spent over 50 years serving the Muslim community in Hyderabad Deccan. Shabbir Ali knew Naqshbandi for 35 years and they shared many important thoughts.

    Shabbir Ali called Naqshbandi’s passing a huge loss for his family, friends, and the entire Muslim community. He prayed that Allah grants him a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous. Naqshbandi was felicitated during the Congress party’s Iftar Dawat held on April 7th, 2023, at Quli Qutub Shah Stadium for his outstanding contributions to the Muslim community.

    Shabbir Ali, along with other Congress leaders, visited Naqshbandi’s residence to pay their respects.
