To prevent similar incidents, the Collector directed the college administration to improve campus security. She suggested installing CCTV cameras in key areas, conducting regular inspections, and establishing a grievance redressal system for students to report problems confidentially.

SP Janaki commended the She Teams for their quick response and highlighted the police department’s commitment to student safety. She urged students and staff to remain vigilant and create a culture of awareness to avoid such violations in the future.

Female students raised their concerns during the discussions and requested stricter security measures. The authorities assured them that immediate steps would be taken, including regular security checks and awareness programs.

The incident has sparked outrage among parents and the public, who are demanding stricter laws and better monitoring to ensure student safety. Authorities have pledged to take necessary action to prevent such occurrences and restore trust. The investigation is ongoing, and the arrested student remains in police custody.
