HMWS&SB to Open Two Gates of Himayath Sagar at 8 am

Hyderabad has been experiencing heavy rains, which has resulted in a significant increase in water levels in the Himayath Sagar and Osman Sagar reservoirs. These reservoirs have received a good amount of water from their catchment areas. In order to manage the water levels, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) officials have decided to lift two gates at each reservoir by 2 feet. This operation will take place at 8.00 am today. The total outflow of water will be 1373 cusecs.
