Dr. Syed Ameer Basha Paspala and Shri Ravindranath Garaga started the rally by waving the flag. The bike procession began at Renova Century Hospitals in Banjara Hills and traveled to Khajaguda Road.

Dr. Pritee Sharma, who leads the vascular surgery department, shared alarming statistics during the event. She explained that diabetes-related foot problems kill as many people as cancer does. The disease causes doctors to amputate a leg somewhere in the world every 20 seconds.

The doctor stressed that prevention works better than treatment. People should watch for warning signs like ongoing leg pain, swelling, color changes, or sores on their feet. Ignoring these symptoms can lead to serious complications.

Renova Century Hospitals uses a team approach to treat patients. Multiple doctors work together to provide the best care possible. This method helps patients recover faster and feel better.

Several medical leaders attended the awareness event. Dr. K. Krishna Prabhakar from internal medicine joined the rally along with hospital administrators and nursing staff. The Harley-Davidson Banjara Chapter also sent representatives to support the cause.

The rally successfully brought attention to a serious health issue affecting millions of people with diabetes. Early detection and proper foot care can prevent devastating leg amputations and save lives.
