Families in Hyderabad are choosing farmhouses on the outskirts of the city for quick getaways instead of going on vacations. These farmhouses are popular because they provide a pollution-free environment and the freedom to spend quality time with loved ones without any time constraints.

During vacations, families are looking for luxurious farms to escape the hot weather and relax away from the city. In the past, families would visit parks and water parks to beat the heat. However, there has been a shift in leisure trends in recent years, with more people opting to spend time at farmhouses for uninterrupted relaxation in natural surroundings.

Farmhouses located outside the city are available for rent for durations of 12 or 24 hours, with prices ranging from Rs 8,000 to Rs 15,000. Rental rates usually double on weekends. Ahmed Ali, the owner of Fay’z Farmhouse, mentioned that people choose farm stays because they offer flexibility and no time constraints, making them ideal for hosting events like pool parties.

Many families prefer farmhouses with swimming pools for privacy and fun activities for children. Social media platforms have also made it easier for people to discover and plan their staycations at various farmhouses around Hyderabad, such as Royale Leisure, Zuza, Krish, Elite Farms, KTC, KGN, Second Home Farm, and others.

Some visitors have expressed concerns about the increasing fees imposed by farmhouse owners, which can range from Rs 8,000 to Rs 25,000 for a 12-hour stay depending on the amenities provided. There have been calls for regulating rental charges in this growing trend.
