A violent argument over unpaid money ended in a shocking assault in Madhuranagar, Hyderabad.

A couple, Mamatha and her husband Hemanth, had lived for three years in a rented penthouse owned by a woman named Sujitha. Mamatha, who was running a chit fund, claimed that Sujitha owed her ₹30,000.

After moving out recently, Mamatha and Hemanth returned to Sujitha’s home on Sunday to collect the amount. They told her they needed the money urgently and demanded immediate repayment.

The conversation quickly turned into a heated argument between Mamatha and Sujitha. Seeing the fight escalate, Sujitha’s mother, Latha (50), tried to intervene and calm them down.

However, in a sudden act of rage, Hemanth attacked Latha and bit her right index finger. The bite was so severe that her finger was completely severed.
