Hydra, a name that has become well-known in Hyderabad, continues to make waves—this time not for demolitions, but for job opportunities.
On Monday, May 19, a massive crowd gathered near the Hydra parking office. The reason? Hydra announced 200 driver positions available on an outsourcing basis, and young people from across the state showed up in large numbers to apply.
Applications opened on May 19 and continued until May 21. The organization made it clear they were giving preference to youth who had recently taken the police constable exams but narrowly missed qualifying. By 10 a.m. on the first day, a long line had already formed as hopeful candidates waited for their chance.
Hydra has a history of hiring through outsourcing. In February 2025, the organization selected 357 workers for the Disaster Response Force (DRF). These recruits underwent a week-long training session at the Amberpet Police Training Center. After training, they were immediately deployed in the field.
Hydra Commissioner Ranganath personally attended the training and offered valuable advice to the new employees, highlighting the importance of their roles.
With its growing influence and continued hiring, Hydra has become a major employment source for Hyderabad’s youth, especially those seeking opportunities in public service.
