Residents in Uppal felt worried late Wednesday night after a group of unknown people were seen moving around several locked houses. This happened in the areas of Raghavendra Colony, Kalyanpuri Colony, and Annapurna Colony.
The individuals had their faces covered and appeared to be checking out the houses, possibly planning for a future theft. Even though no houses were broken into, the suspicious behavior scared the local people.
After getting calls from concerned residents, the police arrived at the scene. They have now started an investigation and are looking through CCTV footage to find out who the people were.
This event has added to growing concerns about safety in Hyderabad neighborhoods. Many people are now asking for more police patrolling and better security in residential areas.
