Telangana is gearing up to host Wings India 2026, a major international aviation event, at Begumpet Airport from January 28 to 31, 2026. On Monday, a significant meeting took place at the Telangana State Secretariat to discuss preparations.
Vikas Raj, the Special Chief Secretary of TR&B, led the meeting. Asangba Chuba Ao, Joint Secretary for the Ministry of Civil Aviation, and top officials from the GHMC, Police, Fire Services, and Begumpet Airport also attended. They reviewed a detailed presentation on the event’s logistics and scope. The Special Chief Secretary emphasized the need for smooth collaboration among all departments for the successful execution of the summit.
Wings India 2026 aims to attract global participation. Representatives from the United Kingdom, United States, Singapore, UAE, Germany, Russia, Qatar, and Ghana are expected. Within India, six states, including Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Odisha, have confirmed their attendance. Around 98 companies will exhibit their technologies at the event.
