Hyderabad is gearing up for Operation Muskaan-XI in 2025, a month-long initiative from July 1 to July 31. This program aims to rescue children from child labor, find missing children, and help those involved in street begging or trafficking. The focus is on providing care, counseling, and rehabilitation for these children.

P Vishwa Prasad, Additional Commissioner of Police, Crimes, recently led a meeting with stakeholders to discuss the operation. They decided to create 28 teams across Hyderabad City. Each team will have one Sub-Inspector and four Head or Police Constables, including at least one woman officer. These officers are trained to handle and protect children, using the Darpan App to trace missing ones. They will work closely with officials from the Labour, Education, and Welfare Departments and NGOs like Childline and Bachpan Bachao Andolan.
