President Draupadi Murmu arrived in Hyderabad for a two-day visit. She was welcomed by top officials and leaders, including Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, and Union Minister for Tourism and Culture G. Kishan Reddy at Begumpet Airport. The Chief Minister offered her a shawl and bouquet.
President Murmu will review the Combined Graduation Parade of the 211th Course at Air Force Academy Dundigal on Saturday. The parade will mark the completion of pre-commissioning training for Flight Cadets of different branches of the Indian Air Force. The President will pin ‘Wings’ and ‘Brevets’ on the cadets’ chest and unveil their ranks during the ceremony.
The parade will also include aerobatic displays by various aircraft, including Pilatus PC-7 trainer aircraft, Su-30, and helicopter display teams ‘Sarang’ and the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team. The President will present awards to meritorious cadets in recognition of their performance.
President Murmu arrived at Begumpet Airport by a special aircraft of the Indian Air Force and reached Raj Bhavan afterward. State ministers and top officials were present during her arrival.
