Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad has launched a new Park & Fly service that allows passengers to pre-book parking slots online through the official airport website. The initiative has been introduced to address recent parking congestion issues at the airport and provide travelers with a hassle-free parking experience. Passengers can now secure their parking spots in advance by booking a minimum of six hours prior to their arrival at the airport, ensuring guaranteed parking availability during peak travel times.

The new service provides access to designated parking zones E-9 and E-10 for passengers who have confirmed their booking through the online platform. One of the key features of this system is that travelers do not need to make any advance payment while booking. Instead, they can complete the payment digitally at the exit point after utilizing the parking facility. This flexible payment option adds convenience for passengers who prefer to pay only for the actual duration of their parking usage.

The pricing structure for the Park & Fly service has been set at ₹650 for six hours and ₹750 for 24 hours of parking. For passengers who need to extend their parking duration beyond the booked time, an additional charge of ₹100 per hour will be applicable. These rates have been designed to cater to different travel needs, particularly for short-duration trips that are common among passengers traveling within the region.

The facility is particularly beneficial for travelers making short trips to nearby cities such as Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, and Rajahmundry, especially those planning same-day return journeys. The airport authorities have also made provisions for situations when the pre-booked parking zones reach full capacity. In such cases, vehicles will be directed to alternate parking areas to ensure that no passenger faces inconvenience due to unavailability of parking space.

Airport officials have confirmed that the Park & Fly service is now operational and accessible through the RGIA official website. The digital booking system allows passengers to plan their airport visit more efficiently and reduces the time spent searching for parking spots upon arrival. The service aims to enhance the overall passenger experience at one of India’s busiest airports, which serves millions of travelers annually connecting Hyderabad to domestic and international destinations.
