On August 19, 2025, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Hyderabad issued a weather forecast for Telangana. They predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers across most areas.
Districts like Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, and Mancherial might experience very heavy rainfall. Meanwhile, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Bhupalpally, Medak, and Kamareddy could see heavy rain, possibly leading to flooding and travel disruptions.
The IMD also warned of thunderstorms with lightning and strong winds, reaching speeds of 30–40 kmph in several regions. Residents are advised to stay indoors and avoid venturing out in such conditions.
