Hyderabad is getting ready to host the Miss World 2025 pageant with grand arrangements already in place. The event will officially begin on May 10 at the Gachibowli Stadium, promising an impressive opening ceremony.
The state government has invited public officials, celebrities, and international guests to attend this glamorous kickoff. With the event running until May 31, the Telangana Police have been put on high alert to ensure tight security and continuous surveillance throughout the city.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to make the event inclusive. He has asked that students from government Gurukuls, BC, SC, ST Welfare Residential Schools, Model Schools, and Kasturba Schools be given a chance to attend and experience the global celebration during the 20-day program.
During a key meeting with top officials, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of offering international guests excellent hospitality. He instructed all departments, especially the Tourism Department, to work together smoothly and deliver on their responsibilities.
Special transportation will be arranged for the Miss World contestants to visit iconic places like the Charminar, Lad Bazaar, the Telangana Thalli Statue, and other well-known tourist spots across the state.
To ensure the event runs without issues, Revanth Reddy called for backup plans to handle any unexpected problems. He stressed the need to prevent traffic jams, power cuts, and other disruptions in areas where pageant-related activities will take place.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and HYDRAA have been instructed to stay alert, especially if there are weather warnings for strong winds or rain. Hotel security has also been tightened, particularly where international participants and guests will be staying.
With these preparations, Hyderabad is all set to shine on the world stage, hosting one of the most prestigious beauty pageants in the world.
