Secunderabad saw significant action on Thursday as the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRA) worked to dismantle illegal structures. This effort focused on tackling unauthorized buildings in Begumpet and Patny.

These constructions were illegally set up over drainage canals. Officials stated that removing them is crucial to allow the natural flow of water and avoid flooding during heavy rains.

HYDRA’s team used heavy equipment to carefully demolish these structures. The operation was closely monitored to ensure all illegal buildings were completely cleared from the area.
