The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) has taken strict action against commercial establishments violating fire safety norms in the city. In a major crackdown, authorities sealed Neeru’s showroom in Jubilee Hills and a furniture showroom located on Nampally Station Road for operating without proper fire safety clearances. Both establishments were found to be functioning without a Fire No Objection Certificate (NOC), posing serious risks to public safety.

During inspections, officials discovered multiple violations at both locations. The showrooms were found to have unsafe storage practices that could lead to fire hazards. Additionally, emergency exits were blocked, preventing safe evacuation in case of fire emergencies. The establishments also lacked essential fire safety equipment such as extinguishers and sprinkler systems, which are mandatory under fire safety regulations.
