Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy stated that he does not support ‘Parivarvad’ like his predecessor K Chandrasekhar Rao. He emphasized that his government aims to attract investments and will not discriminate against anyone.
Responding to criticism regarding his partnership with Adani, Revanth explained that inviting Adani group benefits the state, not just the company. He expressed willingness to welcome investments from Modi and Amit Shah as well, highlighting his commitment to fair development opportunities.
The CM referenced the Gujarat model of development when discussing plans to seek assistance from the Centre for projects like developing the Musi riverfront similar to the Sabarmati riverfront. He also mentioned progress in enhancing revenue generation through improved tax collections and addressing loopholes in GST, Excise, sand, and mining sectors.
Revanth questioned the absence of a leader of opposition in the state Assembly, suggesting that KCR’s non-attendance could be related to this. He also criticized KCR’s educational claims, alleging discrepancies in his qualifications.
