Ikebana International Hyderabad Chapter 250 will hold its annual exhibition on January 6, 2024 at Marigold Hotel in Begumpet, Hyderabad. The exhibition is called “Floral Rendezvous” and will feature 30 floral arrangements created by the 25 members of the Hyderabad Chapter. These arrangements incorporate flowers, foliage, and fruits to bring out a natural feel.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Shailaja Ramaiyer, IAS, Principal Secretary of the Youth Advancement, Tourism & Culture Department. She was impressed by the beautiful displays. The president of Ikebana International Hyderabad Chapter, Ho-Kiku A. Vineetha Kumar, explained that the annual exhibition is held every year on January 6 as a tribute to the late Remani Nambiar, a past president of the Hyderabad Chapter who provided exceptional services to the organization.
The Ikebana artists are passionate about their art and have formed strong bonds with their floral creations. They embody the motto of Ikebana International, which is “Friendship through flowers.” Ho-Kiku A Vineetha Kumar serves as the president of Ikebana International Hyderabad Chapter #250.
