The Meteorological Department has warned people in Telangana about heavy rain today. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad predicts thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds in Hyderabad for the next two days. Strong winds will continue until July 12, with a yellow alert issued.
Telangana has seen a lot of rain this monsoon season, with 210.6 mm recorded so far compared to the normal 175.6 mm. Jogulamba Gadwal district received the most rain at 94.5 mm, while Hyderabad saw 173.5 mm. IMD Hyderabad has warned of heavy rain in various districts for the next two days.
Residents are advised to take precautions as heavy rain is expected.
