Institute of Management Technology, Hyderabad wrapped up its major event, ABHYUDAY 2025, which welcomed the new PGDM students for the 2025-27 batch. This program began on June 18, 2025, and was a significant step for these students as they started their educational journey. It introduced them to the values of IMT Hyderabad and prepared them for future challenges.

During the 10-day program, students participated in various activities that aimed to develop their skills. They attended academic sessions that covered different management topics and joined workshops on Excel and presentation skills. These sessions provided them with essential tools for both academic and professional success.

Several notable speakers shared their expertise with the students. Among them were Challa Nag, Dr. Vanitha Datla, Saketha P, Advocate Mobashshir Sarwar, Professor Stephane Mechoulan, CA Aparna Surabhi, Rajesh Menon, Partha Pratim Dasgupta, and Dr. Gautam Sinha. Their insights inspired the new students and set the stage for their growth as future business leaders.

The Community Connect initiative allowed students to engage with various NGOs in Hyderabad, including visits to GMR Varalakshmi Foundation, Nirmaan, and Swarna Bharat Trust. These experiences highlighted the institution’s focus on developing socially responsible leaders who can positively impact their communities.

Students also took part in team-building activities and adventure sports, which helped strengthen their teamwork and leadership skills. These experiences were crucial for their upcoming managerial roles.

Dr. Baharul Islam, the Director of IMT Hyderabad, expressed his pride in the program’s success. He emphasized the importance of discipline as a foundation for professional and academic excellence. He encouraged students to maintain curiosity and continuously learn beyond the classroom, stating, “Discipline in thoughts, habits, and effort will define your journey here.”
