Indian Air Force Allows Civilian Flights at Adilabad Airport

Adilabad: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has approved the use of Adilabad Airport for civilian flights. This is an important step to improve air travel in Telangana. Adilabad is now the second airport in the state to get such approval in the past six months.

The airport will be used for both military and commercial purposes. Plans are underway to rebuild the runway and set up key facilities. These include a new terminal and other basic infrastructure needed for passenger services.

The central government is supporting this project. Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Ram Mohan for helping to get the approval.

This move is expected to improve travel options and help the economy grow in northern Telangana. Officials are now working quickly to complete the upgrades and start commercial flights as soon as possible.
