The Lok Sabha elections in the state concluded on Monday with voters casting their votes for 17 Lok Sabha seats and the Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly constituency. The voting process went smoothly without any issues. Despite intense campaigning by political parties like Congress, BJP, and BRS, the voter turnout was not as high as expected, especially in the city.

Voter apathy was evident in Hyderabad and Secunderabad, with low voter turnout. Many ordinary citizens were seen voting casually, while influential figures from different fields were more actively participating in the voting process. Politicians, celebrities, and business leaders attracted attention at the polling booths, with many proudly showing off their inked fingers after casting their votes.
