Hyderabad: Nilam Madhu, a former leader of Patancheru, will be re-joining the Congress party on February 15. Madhu had left the Congress and contested as a BSP nominee in the Assembly polls, receiving around 46,000 votes. However, he is now planning to return to the Congress. During the recent Assembly polls, Madhu had joined the Congress after being denied a ticket by the pink party. But due to opposition from party seniors and protests, he was replaced by Kata Srinivas Goud and eventually left the party. Madhu held a meeting on February 12 to discuss the political situation in the state ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. He is in contact with the Congress state leadership and will be formally welcomed back into the party on Thursday.
Is Nilam Madhu considering re-joining the Congress party?
