Hyderabad: T. Jagga Reddy, the working president of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC), challenged BRS leader KT Rama Rao (KTR) on Friday. He questioned, “When you, KCR, and your family met Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, did you forget calling Congress ‘third class’? Wasn’t your father once part of Congress? Does that make him third class too? If KCR is considered third class, then how do you classify yourself?”

During a press meeting at Gandhi Bhavan, Reddy criticized KTR for lacking political maturity. He asked if KTR would still be living in America on a salary if Sonia Gandhi hadn’t helped create Telangana.

Reddy continued to criticize KTR’s attacks on Congress. He stated that if KTR’s grandfather were alive, he would have disapproved of KTR’s behavior. Reddy emphasized that Congress is a party known for its sacrifices and accused KTR of forgetting the gratitude shown to Sonia Gandhi after Telangana’s formation.

He also claimed that KTR’s family gained vast wealth due to the formation of Telangana, implying they would have remained in America otherwise. Reddy accused KTR and KCR of opportunistic politics, pointing out KTR’s lack of political maturity even after a decade as a minister. He criticized KTR’s irresponsible statements, suggesting that KTR’s elders would not have approved of his actions.

Discussing the urea issue, Reddy mentioned Union Minister Kishan Reddy. He described him as a good person but criticized him for merely reading prepared speeches. Reddy urged farmers to be wary of the BRS and BJP leaders’ tactics and highlighted CM Revanth Reddy‘s contributions of thousands of crores to help farmers.
