Prakash Javadekar, the Telangana party in-charge for the BJP, expressed confidence in the party’s victory in Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. He stated that people have seen the delivery of promises and good governance without corruption since the BJP came to power under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Javadekar also highlighted the benefits that poorer sections of society have received through welfare schemes implemented by the Union Government during the last nine and a half years. He mentioned the extension of the free rice distribution scheme for five more years as a measure to help address the plight of the poor.

Javadekar criticized Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for not supporting centrally sponsored welfare schemes in Telangana, particularly the housing scheme. He expressed confidence in the BJP’s victory in Telangana and four other states going to polls. He dismissed allegations of collusion between the BJP and BRS in Telangana and stated that senior leaders would be fielded as party candidates in the Lok Sabha elections.

Javadekar revealed that BJP’s poll strategy in Telangana is to expose both BRS and Congress, whom he claimed have deceived the people. He emphasized that it was Congress and BRS who were two sides of the same coin, with many Congress leaders joining BRS in past elections. Javadekar also criticized the construction of the Kaleshwaram Lift irrigation project, citing corruption and technical faults exposed by the National Dam Safety Authority.

Lastly, Javadekar mentioned that the BJP is closely observing political developments in Andhra Pradesh and will focus on Andhra politics after the Telangana elections.
