The BJP has released a chargesheet against the 10-year rule of the BRS government in Telangana. The chargesheet highlights the government’s failed promises and corruption issues. The chargesheet was released by State president and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, Telangana election in-charge Prakash Javadekar, and other BJP leaders.

According to the chargesheet, corruption has increased significantly under the BRS government. The sand mafia, granite mafia, land mafia, drug mafia, and liquor mafia are all linked to BRS leaders. The Mission Bhagiratha program, which aimed to provide clean drinking water, has also faced corruption issues. Money was embezzled by painting old water tanks instead of investing in new infrastructure. The Kaleshwaram irrigation project, which was supposed to benefit one crore acres of land, has also been plagued by corruption. The cost of the project increased from Rs. 40,000 crore to Rs. 1.4 lakh crore, and contracts were awarded to people close to the CM’s family.

The chargesheet also mentioned that BRS MLAs and leaders have taken advantage of welfare schemes like ‘Kalyan Laxmi,’ double bedroom houses, and industries for their personal gain. Media reports have revealed that MLAs are collecting a 30% commission in the Dalit Bandhu scheme. The chargesheet also highlighted the involvement of KCR’s daughter in the Delhi liquor scam. The Dharani portal and the BRS regime have become synonymous with corruption.

Furthermore, the chargesheet outlined how farmers, dalits, tribals, and backward classes have been deceived and let down by the government’s failure to fulfill its promises. Farmers have been cheated, dalits have not received promised Podu lands, and BCs have not received the allocated Rs 25,000 crore for their welfare.
